Symbols

This is kind of an "all call".
I am looking for signs of peace.
Strength.
Wisdom.
Beauty.
Safety.
Protection.
Anything that would be good to have in a birthing space.
I don't care what culture.
I don't care what religion.
If you know of any specific symbols for any of these let me know!
I would love to fill my space with symbols of these from all over.

Examples:
Ganesha: widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and more generally as Lord of Beginnings and Lord of Obstacles, patron of arts and sciences, and the deva of intellect and wisdom. (via wikipedia.org.)

Moonstone: Moonstone fosters happiness, gracefulness, good fortune, hope, spiritual insight, easy childbirth, safe travel on water, new beginnings and adjusting to changes, abundance and ancient wisdom. Especially for water signs. Motherly love, support, encouragement. (via http://www.gemstonegifts.com/)

Water: The feminine qualities of water help the mother to access her feminine power and to counteract or dissolve the harsh masculine forces which have dominated childbirth since the invention of obstetric forceps three hundred years ago. Warm water relaxes, comforts and soothes us.

Its fluid quality delights the senses and brings us into harmony with our sensuality and sexuality. It offers the woman in labour a way to get in touch with the original freedom of her body and to find the inner unity and peace she needs to nourish and give birth to her child.

When a woman carries a child, gives birth to and mothers her baby, she needs to draw on her inner resources for power, energy, strength and endurance. She can be aided in this by the elemental forces of nature. (via activebirthpools.com)

Hope those examples help. I am open to ANY suggestions you may have. Let me here them!

Peace and Love.
