Week 7

A little over half way through the first trimester. How has it been going? Well so far:
1. I am extremely tired most of the time and have been taking advantage of Joey being off work and napping when he is home.
2. Have been getting a bit of "morning sickness" but can definitely see it related to me waiting a bit too long before eating.
3. HAVE BEEN EATING LIKE MAD.
4. The "girls" have already started "bulking" up.
5. My pants are already too tight. (Not from eating like mad, I promise.)
6. Have been forgetting things mid sentence. (Which I think has rubbed off on Joey as well.)
Can someone remind me to call the vet tomorrow? I forgot to today. ;)
7. Junebug is the size of a tic tac.

My reading as of lately is finally getting around to these:
Once I finish them there is a whole slew of others that will be making their way into this household...besides my doula books I still need to finish.

My regimen other than that is to eat as soon as I feel hungry which in the morning I've been pushing it trying to make something yummy for breakfast and end up making myself sick...even if it only takes a few minutes to get something made. Making sure to eat WELL. Also trying to remember to take my vitamins.
These are made from, ready for this:
Organice Brown Rice, Organic Oats, Organic Blueberries, Organic Prunes, Organic Blackberries, Organic Flame Raisins, Organic Raspberries, Organic Dandelion, Organic Lemon Balm, Organic Peppermint, Organic Cloves, L. casei, L. plantarum, L. salivarius, L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, S. thermophilus, B. bifidum, B. infantis, B. longum and B. breve. Along with Organic Broccoli, Organic Califlower, Organic Kale, Organic Daikon Radish, Organic Cabbage and Organic Mustard...There is more but I digress. I started on a different vitamin but it just wasn't settling right with me so I went for more natural ones and I couldn't be happier!

Leena seems excited (most of the time) about the new baby. The other night I asked her if she wanted to say goodnight to the baby so she said goodnight to my tummy and gave it a kiss. Then she started singing to him or her. It was so freaking precious.

Here's the tummy. I figured I would share since I can tell a difference in it's size already....not that I didn't already look pregnant before hand but that is the beauty of life. We are all different shapes and sizes. All different people and we all add something to the world. :) But like I said, I, along with Joey, already definitely notice a difference!

I swear I wasn't grumpy. I just never know what to do in front of the camera when someone else is taking a photo of me. Oh and sorry for my indecent dog.

I go see my midwife next week and I can't wait. She is amazing and cracks me up. I have a feeling there will be LOTS of laughter during this pregnancy and childbirth. That is welcome any time!

Also random side note, last night I ate 2 small green apples before bed and then a few minutes after I finished the second one I started feeling hungry STILL. I instead went and laid down and Mr. Bonzai came and laid next to me and started pawing my stomach. Normally I don't want anyone touching my stomach when it feels this way but for some reason it felt nice having him paw it. After a few minutes of him pawing it I burped and felt SO MUCH BETTER. hah. The cat burped me. He knew what was wrong with me. Then he proceeded to drive me batty trying to lay on my head and then lay on top of me, etc because he's SUPER cuddly/clingy since I've become pregnant. But I appreciate him making me feel better!

That's all to report for this week!
Peace and Love!
