I'm thumpin, that's why they call me Thumper.

On Saturday we went to the Rabbit Festival out here. I was a very torn individual at the festival. It was nice to see my daughter so excited over the animals but I was really depressed to see how sad the animals looked in their cages. What's a girl to do? I was especially sad when I looked up the website before leaving and saw they were having a rabbit cook-off. How awkward is that? "Here, eat Uncle Earl while petting Aunt Vicki." Anywho, here's some photos from our trip!

She was so excited when we told her we were going to see bunnies.

Not quite sure what to make of it all.

Watch out, they spit.

No pictures.

Daddy showing Leena how to feed the animals.

Leena was sad she couldn't reach the bunnies.

I tried the whole puppy dog face to get a bunny but Joey didn't take the bait.

Daddy was showing her even the tired get fed.

"WHAT GOAT?!"

"OH, that's what you want."

Messy eater.

Petting Mr. Goat.

She for sure takes after her mommy. She was trying to free the "kid." I just wanted to steal the goat and run. He was all alone in a small little cage.

My husband is a stud, you know you were thinking it.

Oh how I love his $4 shoes. SCORE. Love clearance items.

I love the times him and her have together. They melt my heart and make me feel whole. We suck in as much time together as possible when he's home. She is such a daddy's girl and I am okay with taking a back seat in her mind when he's around. :)

This girl loves to swing.

I am warning you now....If you have a weak stomach, please turn away. This next picture will surely make any grown man gag. With that warning, let us proceed.

Don't say I didn't warn you. Honestly, who needs this much of a corndog? I couldn't even get through half without wanting to run instantly to the nearest trashcan to relieve my stomach of this nastiness. I mean, a girl loves her occasional corndog, but is this really necessary? Lesson learned, next time ASK how large the corndog is before ordering one for me AND one for Leena. Poor Joey, he ate his polish sausage and nearly one whole one of these himself. He felt so sick afterwards.

Leena enjoyed about 1/4 of hers before she got a fruit leather because mommy felt terrible giving this to her daughter.

Here's her grooving to the music while eating lunch. :)

We didn't stay very long. Leena was getting tired and Mommy was just getting more and more sad over the animal situation.
About 5 minutes into the car ride home, she was out.

Thus concludes our trip to the Rabbit Festival.

Yesterday was a lazy day. We stayed home and mommy went through her make up to get rid of all her old make up along with her just plain toxic make up. I am cleaning out our home, getting rid of all the terrible chemicals we slather ourselves in and clean our houses with. It's amazing what we do to ourselves as human beings. I am now down to a few, and I mean only a few, essentials i.e. Mascara, moisturizer, one eyeshadow, a blush, one nail polish and an eyeliner basically. Once those run out I will update them with organic, natural products that aren't filled with carcinogens. I am so excited for where our future is headed.

Joey and I watched Food, Inc as recommended by the wonderful Sara Patton. (Check her out she's an amazing photographer. Website.)I will never look at our food industry the same. I am definitely more aware of what we are putting in our bodies and want only the best for Leena. It also gave us great insight of things to know when we eventually start up our farm.

I plowed in the garden a bit to get it ready for new planting while Leena napped then we enjoyed dinner early and headed to church. We tried out a new church and it was amazing. We can't wait to go back and Leena had a blast with the few kids they had in the nursery.

Hope you all had a great weekend and had wonderful food not consisting of cute little bunnies. ;)
Peace and Love.

I DO live in those earrings. I wore them to church last night too. haha I can't wait when you guys have babies and getting to see the beautiful photos you'll take of James with him/her.
I was scared for Isabel's life at the festival. If I wasn't careful they probably would have eaten her! ;) I am sorry she had to be subjected to that and to that hideous corndog.
