Mind wandering.
Feeling the wind on my face.
Sudden realization.
I am horrible.
I totally neglected the anniversary of my grandfather's passing two days ago.
I totally forgot.
I didn't acknowledge.
I didn't call my grandmother.
I've been too wrapped up in my own world.
Who does that?
I'm sorry grandpa.
You deserve better.
You deserve so much more than acknowledgement.
I promised to make that day special every year.
Already, two years later, I have failed that promise.

I need to do better.
