Joey does have friends.

Joey and I joke around about how he has no friends out here. He doesn't really connect with most of the guys he works with. Most are in a completely different frame of mind. However, we were invited over for dinner with one of the few guys he does get along with and his wife.
Some pre-dinner photos.

We were absolutely spoiled. Rachel is an amazing cook.

Leena watching Rachel do dishes.

We got candied oranges.

Three types of deviled eggs.
Stuffed mushrooms...mmmmmm, my favorite. Then for dinner we had a veggie salad, eggplant moussaka and some amazing bread. For dessert Joey made a peanut butter cheesecake and I brought our peanut butter fudge. Phil and Joey enjoyed some of his mead.

Leena colored.
She/we played with the doggies.
She got dragged around by a doggie playing tug o war and was giggling hysterically. It was fun to just hang out and chat and watch Leena play.
Their amazing bus!

Ahhhh, afghans.
The wonderful cook. :)
Phil with his amazing red hair.

Stepping back and truly seeing what matters has been in the forefront of my mind lately. Joey and I have been brainstorming, praying and realizing what really matters and making moves to make our lives more streamlined and fulfilling. Fulfilling in what truly matters. Love. Letting go of worry. Everything else can work itself out. There's no room for negativity, doubt and worry about the future. Take a hike. With letting go of these things our marriage has strengthened even more. Our love has multiplied beyond what I thought was even possible. Our parenting has improved and our faith has greatly increased.

There has been lots of giggling. There has been lots of cuddling. There has been lots of kisses. There has been an amazing amount of love all around.

Constantly improve. Never stay stagnant. Keep the fire alive, in all your relationships.
Peace and Love.
